I was born in Yorkshre in 1970 and I suppose my love of art started when, aged 11, 

I visited Paris with my parents and was totally swept away by Monet’s Waterlilies.  

After a degree in graphic design, I spent most of my working life employed by Dorling Kindesley and Penguin books in the childrens division, designing books of all shapes and sizes.

After having 3 children and taking a break from work, I have decided to 

focus my attention on painting.

My paintings are very graphic, with strong natural themes and deep life meanings. Sometimes I write words in pen and ink amongst the imagery.
